‘Pull printing’ technology offers considerable cost savings. Print jobs are held on a central server until the job owner identifies themselves, by either PIN number or swipe card, and ‘pulls’ the print job off at any printer of their choice. This can dramatically reduce print waste and hence your running costs (and remember your running costs form the largest part of your print costs). It also removes the need to support users in setting up multiple printers on their laptops and desktops.

As well as giving you clear cost accountability, enabling you to allocate costs by department and even by user, it also improves document security, since documents won’t print off and stay on a printer for someone else to see.

We can also help you cut costs by auditing your existing print infrastructure and, using the science of ergonomics, proposing a structured deployment. Together with the deployment of multi-function devices (combined print, copy, scan and fax) and pull printing this can dramatically reduce the number of printers and other devices that you’re paying for and having to support.
