  • determining the compatibility of existing applications
  • compilation of an up-to-date software asset register
  • automated deployment of Windows XP and Office 2003
  • ongoing management of patches.
  • Application compatibility assessment
Application compatibility is the single biggest point of failure on migration projects. Using the Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit, we'll compile an application inventory, test for client and server application incompatibilities and provide the compatibility fixes necessary to support legacy applications in Windows.

    Software asset management
Not knowing exactly what software assets you already have deployed is a common hurdle to upgrading. Using the Microsoft Software Inventory Analyser, we'll discover the Microsoft software titles held on system registry and programme files and record all their details ready for incorporation into your existing inventory or asset management system. We'll then reconcile this information with your existing licence records to determine any over or under subscription.

    Automated deployment
We can help you cut the per user cost of deployment to a fraction of that traditionally quoted by analysts. By utilising the advanced functionality of Windows Sever 2003 we can pack applications in to ('Longhorn' compatible) MSI packages for automated deployment to desktops and laptops.
