This best practice analysis service can be applied to Exchange Server 2003, Exchange 2000 Server or mixed Exchange Server 5.5/Active Directory environments and without impacting on the normal operation of your Exchange servers. The analysis tool is installed on, and run from, a workstation so no server modifications are necessary and checks can be run while servers are operational.

As part of the service ComputerLand will provide and install the best practice analyser tool (which will be left with you for future use) and conduct a thorough assessment of your Exchange infrastructure:

  • determining your existing Exchange server configuration and checking for up-to-date patches and fixes
  • reviewing your Exchange server topology, files and registry settings
  • reviewing your underlying Operating System configuration
  • reviewing the installed anti-virus software
  • performing a general check, connectivity test or baseline check against other configured servers.

After which we’ll produce a report detailing the tool’s findings and, drawing on our own expertise, recommendations for improvements. We’ll liaise with you to discuss the findings and, if required, will work with you to apply the recommended server modifications.
