AAH Pharmaceuticals - the UK 's leading distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products and services to pharmacies, hospitals and doctors.

Issue As part of its business AAH provides LINK pharmacy management systems, including the necessary hardware. However, the company was experiencing persistent service problems with its hardware supplier and these were impacting AAH’s ability to implement its customers’ pharmacy systems as planned.
Solution

AAH turned to ComputerLand for a solution. The company already knew ComputerLand to be a reliable partner of its corporate IT team. Working closely with the AAH LINK team, ComputerLand created a contracted managed product supply service that addresses each of the service issues AAH had been encountering.

ComputerLand assists AAH in defining hardware product standards and specifications, holds bonded stock and manages stock levels to ensure continual availability, even during AAH’s busiest months. ComputerLand also configures PCs to agreed standards, dispatches these directly to AAH’s customers and proactively manages the process to eradicate late deliveries. This includes calling AAH’s customers a couple of days prior to the scheduled installation to confirm receipt of delivery and, if necessary, re-dispatching to ensure that the LINK team can always complete their system installations on time

Result "ComputerLand is managing our hardware supply very effectively. Our customers are fairly vocal when things don’t work so I know that we don’t have any problems with ComputerLand’s service,” explains LINK National Sales Manager, David Tattersall. “There is a trust between the two organisations. ComputerLand consistently does what it says its going to do and reliably achieves its SLA (Service Level Agreement).”
